Article Processing Charges

Al-Majmu’: Journal of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 100,000 (one hundred thousand rupiah) per accepted article.

  • No submission fee. Submitting and reviewing a manuscript is free.
  • Payable only after acceptance. The APC is requested after the article has been accepted following peer review. It covers copyediting, layout, DOI registration, and online hosting.
  • No influence on decisions. Payment has no bearing on editorial or review decisions, which are made before any payment is requested.
  • Waivers. Authors who cannot afford the APC (for example, students or authors from low-income countries) may request a full or partial waiver in the comments to the editor at submission. Waiver requests are handled by the publisher, separately from the editorial process.
  • Readers pay nothing. All articles are open access under CC BY-SA 4.0.

The APC may be adjusted in the future. Any change will be announced on this page in advance and will not apply to manuscripts already submitted.

How to pay

  1. Wait for the acceptance email and the payment request from the editor.
  2. Scan the QRIS (merchant MITRA EDUKASI, NMID ID1026565261165) with any bank or e-wallet app that supports QRIS.
  3. Enter the amount stated in the APC invoice from the editor (see the current APC above) and complete the payment.
  4. Send the payment receipt, your submission ID, and the article title to the editorial office.
  5. The editor confirms the payment and the article proceeds to publication.

Open or download the QRIS image. Authors outside Indonesia who cannot use QRIS may contact the editorial office for an alternative.
