General requirements

  • Original work, not previously published or under review elsewhere, and within the focus and scope.
  • Every article names the kitab used as its primary source and cites it by a specific printed edition: author, title, editor (if any), place, publisher, year, volume, and page. References to al-Maktabah al-Shāmila or other apps must name the printed edition behind them.

  • Mahasantri of Ma’had Aly are encouraged to write together with a supervisor (mudir, musyrif, or lecturer) as co-author.
