About the Journal

Tamhid: Jurnal Studi Islam Peneliti Muda is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (May and November) by Mitra Edukasi Sejahtera. Tamhid is a first publishing venue for undergraduate and master’s students, santri, teachers, and early-career researchers in Islamic studies: Qur’anic and Hadith studies, Islamic thought and law, Islamic education, dakwah and Islamic counselling, Islam and culture, Islam and society, and contemporary Islamic studies. Manuscripts are accepted in Indonesian or English, with no submission fee (an APC applies to accepted articles only), and are published under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

Unlike most journals, Tamhid practises mentoring peer review: reviewers do not only assess, but also give clear guidance for improvement so that first-time authors learn to write good research articles. Tamhid aims for SINTA accreditation and indexing in GARUDA and Google Scholar.
