Author Guidelines

Article template: DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE (.docx)

General requirements

  • Original work, not previously published, not under review elsewhere, and within the focus and scope.
  • Indonesian or English. The title, abstract, and keywords are written in both languages (Indonesian and English).
  • Length: 4,000–7,000 words including references.
  • Upload the manuscript through this website as a Word file (.docx) using the template, without author names in the file (for double-blind review).
  • Articles based on an undergraduate or master’s thesis are welcome if this is stated in the first footnote; supervisors may be co-authors if they contributed.

Article structure

  1. Title: no more than 15 words.
  2. Abstract: 150–250 words (aim, method, findings, conclusion) and 3–5 keywords.
  3. Introduction: background, previous studies, research gap, and research questions.
  4. Method.
  5. Results and Discussion.
  6. Conclusion.
  7. References.

Citations and references

  • APA 7th edition; use of a reference manager (Mendeley or Zotero) is required.
  • At least 20 references, mostly journal articles from the last ten years; include DOIs where available.

Transliteration

Arabic–Latin transliteration follows the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (1987).

Submission Preparation Checklist

  • The manuscript is original and not under review by another journal.
  • The manuscript follows the Author Guidelines and the Tamhid template.
  • Author names and affiliations have been removed from the manuscript file.
  • The title, abstract, and keywords are provided in Indonesian and English.
  • References follow APA 7 using Mendeley/Zotero, with at least 20 references.
  • Any use of generative AI has been declared.
  • The corresponding author has entered an active WhatsApp number in their user profile (Edit Profile › Contact › Phone). This number is used only for editorial correspondence and is never published.
