Author Guidelines

General requirements

  • Original, unpublished, and within the Focus and Scope; the programme must have been completed and evaluated.
  • Indonesian or English, 4,000–7,000 words including references; title, abstract (150–250 words), and 3–5 keywords in Indonesian and English.
  • Submit an anonymised Word file (.docx) using the journal template.

Structure

  1. Introduction: community profile, problems and assets, relevant literature, and programme objectives.
  2. Method: approach (PAR/ABCD/CBR/Service Learning), partners, location and time, stages, and evaluation instruments.
  3. Results: outputs, outcomes, and evidence of change (tables, figures, and photos).
  4. Discussion: interpretation in relation to previous studies, sustainability, and lessons learned.
  5. Conclusion and recommendations.
  6. Acknowledgements (funders and community partners), references.

References

APA 7th edition using Mendeley or Zotero; at least 20 references, mostly journal articles from the last 10 years; include DOIs.

Photos and ethics

Photos must support the analysis (not only documentation), have the consent of those pictured, and must not identify minors without guardian consent. State how informed consent was obtained.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  • The article reports a completed and evaluated programme, not a plan.
  • The file is anonymised for double-blind review.
  • Title, abstract, and keywords are provided in Indonesian and English.
  • Evidence of change (data before and after, or equivalent) is presented.
  • Consent was obtained from participants and people shown in photos.
  • References follow APA 7 (min. 20) with DOIs where available.
  • The corresponding author has entered an active WhatsApp number in their user profile (Edit Profile › Contact › Phone). This number is used only for editorial correspondence and is never published.
